The Liberty Letter - 294a Room At The Cross
Loved ones, the song writer wrote: 1. Room at the Cross for a trembling soul, Room at the Cross for you; Where the sin laden may be made whole, Room at the Cross for you. 2. Room at the cross for a breaking heart, Room at the Cross for you; Choose the, like Mary, the better part, Room at the Cross for you. 3. Room at the cross for the sad and worn, Room at the Cross for you; Come, then, O come, then, why longer mourn, Room at the Cross for you. 4. Room at the Cross, Room at the Cross for you, Room, room, room at the Cross, Room at the Cross for you.”
The words of the song remind us of what the apostle Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians 5:14-15: “14 For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: 15 and that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.”
What if a billionaire left you his entire fortune and instructed you to share it with others. What would you do? We are sure you would do as you were instructed in his will. Well, then, what is the greatest inheritance that has ever been offered to mankind? Obviously, it is a home in heaven and an escape from the fires of hell (Matthew 25:46).
So, dear brethren, what are you doing to share your inheritance? There is “room at the cross.” What are you doing to share your inheritance with others? Think about it, pray about it, and then DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT! God is so good. Love you. Samuel – 9 August 2026
